Our Story
Ember & Oak was born from a simple belief: that a great steak deserves reverence. Founded in 1998 by Chef Marcus Hartwell, our kitchen is a sanctuary where time-honored techniques meet an unwavering commitment to sourcing only the finest, most responsibly raised beef.
Every cut is hand-selected, dry-aged in our temperature-controlled aging room, and cooked over sustainably harvested heritage white oak. The result is a depth of flavor that simply cannot be replicated. From the first sear to the final bite, every detail is intentional.

The tomahawk for two was an experience unto itself. Carved tableside, each slice revealed a perfect blush pink center with a crust that shattered at the touch. This is, without question, the finest steakhouse I have ever had the pleasure of dining at.
